Before there was the Cleveland Strikers, it was a group of high school friends who enjoyed bowling together. The group found enjoyment in the competition and fun moments created while bowling. What started as a friend's night out quickly turned into a weekly event. From there the weekly event found itself at different bowling alleys throughout the Cleveland area. It was not until 2022 that the Cleveland Strikers became an official bowling team.
The Primary logo features a fist holding a flash, representing strikes that happen in bowling. The secondary logo features a blackletter style C that represents Cleveland. Both logos have shield designs for stickers, shirts, and social media. The Shield evokes a sense of tradition in bowling, connecting the past with the present. The yellow represents sportsmanship and the happiness of playing with friends, the black represents the challenge of being the best, and the red represents the honor and competitiveness of the team. The typeface Amador creates a sense of belonging, resonating with the social nature of bowling as a group activity.
