Plattermate UX/UI design

Plattermate functions as a meal delivery app that allows users to filter and build personalized meal preferences. The primary colors of Plattermate are green and orange. These colors play a vital role in Plattermate’s branding. Green promotes the healthy food options available, establishing itself as a key color in food promotion. Orange symbolizes the satisfaction and energy derived from the meals. 

The typefaces Stevie Sans, Segoe UI, and Hoss Round contribute significantly to the visual hierarchy throughout the app. Stevie Sans serves for headlines, featuring a thin, smooth look that remains subtle yet emphasizes the main points on each page. Hoss Round functions as the body text, with its rounded shape echoing the inviting nature of many icons. Segoe UI complements Stevie Sans as small text, enhancing readability.

A collection of 14 distinct icons represents the various sections of the app, guiding users seamlessly through its features. Users have the option to choose the various f meals of the week or create their own meal package. During the course of creating a new meals, the user is able to choose their preferences and ingredients to avoid. From there a hand full of recommended meal options appear on the screen to choose from. Each layout directs users efficiently to their desired location within the app. A static menu positioned in the bottom footer of each screen, along with a back icon, facilitates easy navigation to previous screens..
